Privacy Policy
Last Updated: March 2026. Your privacy is our absolute highest priority.
1. The "Zero Upload" Guarantee
DocTijori is built on a fundamental commitment to your privacy. We do not upload, store, transmit, or analyze your files. All document processing (compression, merging, splitting, conversion) is executed locally on your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) using WebAssembly and local JavaScript engines, functioning exactly like offline PC software without internet.
Because your files never leave your device, it is physically impossible for us to access, view, or share your sensitive documents (such as Aadhaar cards, PAN cards, or bank statements).
2. Information We Collect
While we do not collect your files, we do collect standard, non-personally identifiable analytics data to help us improve the website's performance. This includes:
- Analytics Data: We use Google Analytics to understand website traffic, such as which pages are visited, the type of browser used, and basic geographic data (e.g., city/country).
- Local Storage: We may use your browser's local storage (similar to cookies) to remember your preferences (like preserving original colors during compression) or to keep a local tally of how many files you have processed. This data remains on your device.
3. Third-Party Services
We use third-party services for hosting, content delivery, and analytics. These services may collect basic IP and network data to function correctly:
- Cloudflare: Used for website hosting, security, and fast content delivery.
- Google Analytics: Used to monitor overall website traffic and performance.
- JSDelivr & Unpkg: Used to deliver the open-source code libraries required to run our tools.
4. Data Security
Because your files are never transmitted to a server, they are inherently secure from server-side data breaches, hacks, or unauthorized access by our team. The security of your documents depends entirely on the security of your own device.
5. Compliance
DocTijori is designed to comply with global privacy standards, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA 2023), by adhering to the principle of data minimization—we simply do not collect personal data in the first place.
